Birdtables can come with or without a roof, and with or without decorative chimneys upon the roof. They can be in a lighter wood, or a darker wood, and can be manufactured to a specified height if required.

Treasure Chests

Treasure Chests are bespoke items, created by one of our volunteers. They can be made to order, of various sizes, with different seals and locking mechanisms. Ask for what you want!

Three sizes of garden trugs exist :-
- small costing £4.50
- medium costing £6.50
- large costing £8.50

Birdhouses of various sizes can be ordered from the Woodstore. Varieties are available for tits, and especially for owls where the design differs markedly.

Shelves can be free-standing units, wall-fixed units with rounded bases, or shelves without the unit. They can be of a specified number of shelves, to fit dimensions required. When ordering let us know exactly what you want!

Bootpullers

A simple item works wonders for helping you to pull off your boots! Cheap and always in stock, our bootpullers are a must for the wedged welly !

Planters and barrows

Wooden barrows are sold as planters, and come in several sizes. These range in price from £6 for a small one to £20 for a large one.

Batboxes are manufactured to house small communities of bats. These can be already extant, or attracted by the possibility of nesting. The box consists of a ladderboard leading to a bat-sized slit into the main box.

Free-standing, or hanging, signs can be made to order. The one displayed advertises the Toolstore for the Volunteer Centre, and an equivalent sign would cost around £x

Rose Arches

Rose arches can liven up your garden. At the Woodstore, we can make you one to fit the size of a specific area, and incorporate any features that you need within it.

Benches

The Woodstore has been commissioned to build several sturdy wooden benches, and will build one to your specifications. Size and wood type will define the price, but they start from as little as £50!

Whether for a rabbit or a guinea pig, or another animal you may own, we can make the perfect hutch for them. They can be stand-alone or with a covered run attached.

Kindling can be bought in small bags to large sacks, with discounts for bulk orders. Prices :-
£1.20 - small bag
£1.00 - sack of sticks or blocks
£6.00 - bulk order of 10 small bags

Chairs

From children's chairs, to garden seats and medieval thrones, the Woodstore can manufacture what you desire. Cost is dependent on size and the type of wood used.

Trellis

In dark wood-stain or light, a trellis of a size to suit your needs can be manufactured by our Woodstore. Be sure to let us know the width and height, as well as where the fixings will go!

House names are engraved using grouting through a stencil. The price depends on the type of wood used, and the size and number of letters in the name.

A large variety of craft items can be made through woodturning. These range from candle-holders to bag-handles, to a wide selection of bowls. Order what you want, and we will quote a price based on size and type of wood used.

Kennels

Kennels can be constructed by the Woodstore to your specifics.

Chicken Coops

Chicken coops cost from £35 for a small house, to £80 for a large house with wiremesh run. Houses for bantams can also be constructed to a different design.

Ystrad Woodstore has the capacity to make almost any wooden item you may require. This is the meaning of 'bespoke'. Prices depend on size, labour and wood type. Items we have made in the past include a lectern, clocks, and workbenches.

Compost Bins - £30 each. These average a metre cubed, but can be built to a specified size to fit your garden. They can be dark or light wood-stained as you require.
